This is the product you need for your analysts and incident handlers. The full rolling packet capture will help you rubber stamp an event as a successful intrusion or an unsuccessful one.

This, in conjunction with your current intrusion detection setup will allow your analysts to conduct a complete and thorough analysis of an event.

Pro-active or post attack recovery, Niksun will be there with all the packets you want.

I've been using this product and the NetVCR product (as well as their Enterprise products) for the last 10 years. I can tell you it's been really useful to so many people in our organization that we wont deploy a new network now without a Niksun box on there before we go live.

We use it as our primary IDS, for gathering forensics, trouble shooting and usage reporting. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this product.

They support the products really well too.
